Educational Concert

Again this year, the Festival will launch with a special two-set performance with an education angle.

Past opening sessions have featured such notables as John Royen, Louis Ford, James Dapogny, Hank Troy & Wende Harston, Jeff Barnhart, Nicki Parrott & Danny Coots and many others. The Student Clinic Friday Band and Clinic faculty have also participated.  This year’s program is currently being developed.  Details will announced as they become available.  The two sets are free and open to the public and begin at noon Friday, at the Elks Lodge Ballroom.

Sunday Gospel Service

One of the annual Festival highlights is the Sunday Gospel Service featuring the Queen City Jazz Band and vocal great Wende Harston.  The service starts at 9:00 am* sharp Sunday and is open to the public. Plan to arrive early as it is usually SRO.

* note this time is earlier than previous years!

Sunday Bonus Free Performance

This year we're adding a special free performance by the local Jazz Ambassadors on Sunday immediately following the service at our new venue - Center Stage Evergreen.

Dance Lessons

Each Festival day begins with a one-hour dance lesson in the Elks Ballroom.  Lessons are taught by professional instructors and are open to all ticket holders.
